Sadly, federal funding for the Regional Genetic Networks has ended. NERGN closed on May 31, 2024. This website will remain live until November 2025 but will not be monitored.

ACT Sheets for Primary Care

Developed by the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics and the National Coordinating Center for the Regional Genetics Networks, ACMG ACT Sheets are one-page clinical decision support tools to inform the clinical decision-making of primary care proivders. Given the rarity of many genetic conditions—ACT Sheets and algorithms are excellent refreshers on the conditions, diagnoses, and next steps for patients.

New England Consortium of Metabolic Programs

The New England Consortium of Metabolic Programs brings together healthcare professionals at all levels involved in identifying and treating individuals with metabolic disorders. This site has educational sections on specific metabolic conditions and newborn screening as well as their acute illness guidelines for treating newborns and children at risk for serious metabolic defects.

GeneReviews

GeneReviews, an international point-of-care resource for busy clinicians, provides clinically relevant and medically actionable information for inherited conditions in a standardized journal-style format, covering diagnosis, management, and genetic counseling for patients and their families.

New England Regional Genetics Group (NERGG)

The New England Regional Genetics Group was formed in order to serve as a consortium of genetics service providers, public health planners, consumer groups, and general and state maternal and child health personnel in New England. Its primary activities are to serve as a forum for the discussion of region-wide concerns regarding the provision of optimal services in clinical genetics and genetics education, and to undertake specific programs for the enhancement of genetics services in New England.

Find a Clinic

ACMG's "Find a Genetics Clinic" allows individuals to search for genetics clinics across the United States. The directory contains the locations of genetics clinics that have requested to be listed.
